On 25-26 May 2012, the Lithuanian Partner of Friisberg & Partners International, Nijole Kelpsaite, took part in a business summit in Belarus, organized jointly by the European Humanity University (a Belarusian University) and The Nordic Chambers of Commerce in Lithuania. The delegates attending comprised members of the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish Chambers of Commerce, representatives of furniture manufacturing, logistics, insurance and leasing companies, including Storebrand and SEB Leasing. Delegates were offered visits to various businesses in Belarus, such as a local brewery Lidskoe Pivo, an Olvi Group Company, Belarus High-Tech Park, amongst others.

 

Kelpsaite introduced delegates to “Zdes i Sejchas” the Belarusian firm of Friisberg & Partners International, represented by Olga Nadtochaeva, the firm’s Head of Recruitment, who with the assistance of her Lithuanian colleagues, made a presentation to delegates containing useful information about the Belarusian market and its commercial opportunities. She also shared some practical advice along with her experiences and insights gained as an Executive Search Consultant in the region.  Her presentation was subsequently distributed to all members of the Nordic Chambers of Commerce in Lithuania.

 

Nadtochaeva and Kelpsaite expect this event and their participation in it to have been an excellent boost to the profile and reputation of Friisberg & Partners International in Belarus in particular and the Nordic and Eastern European Executive Search markets in general, where Friisberg is already very well represented and continuing to grow.
